ISLAMABAD: Rains across the country have played havoc and the death toll has risen to 80.
Balochistan was the worst hit by the torrential rains, where 42 people lost their lives, including 16 women and 14 children, in flash floods and collapsed houses.
Floods in various dams and canals in Balochistan have caused severe damage to the population. Floods from the mountains in Harnai have entered the city and roads have begun to look like streams.
Due to heavy rains last night, mud houses collapsed in Kohlu, a bridge was swept away in a relay at Sonari in Mawand, Kohlu has lost ground connection with Balochistan including Quetta.

The death toll from lightning and landslides in Ghizer has risen to eight. In Multan, three children were killed and two women were injured in two incidents of roof and wall collapse.
It is also raining in different parts of Karachi. Due to the accumulation of water in various places, the roads began to look like streams. A four-year-old girl, identified as Balqis son of Siddiqui Afridi, died after being electrocuted by an electric pole outside her house near Landhi Daud Chali Katchi Abadi in Karachi yesterday.
