Deadline to file income tax extended to Oct 31

The FBR had extended the deadline for filing taxes till Oct 15, Source: FILE. 
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) extended the deadline to file income tax returns and statements for the tax year 2019.
According to a circular released earlier, the Federal Board of Revenue has revised it from 30th September to 31st October instead.

According to the circular, issued by the FBR, the people who, as of 30th September, fail to file their income tax returns/statements will be hereby allowed to file their returns/statements by 31st October 2019.
As many as 380,000 people have filed their income tax returns by September 30 this year as compared to 408,000 people filed returns in the same period of last year, according to the officials of the FBR.
