Cyclonic storm Kyarr transforms into super cyclone

KARACHI: Cyclonic storm Kyarr transformed into a super cyclone with 5 category intensity.

Sources added that the storm is likely to hit coastal areas along Sindh and bring rain, sandstorm along with lightning at least for next two days.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) also added that Cyclone Kyarr is 860 km away from the metropolis. Light downpour with lightning and sandstorms are expected in lower Sindh region. The PMD warned fisher-folk to maintain considerable distance from deep waters.

Some experts also revealed that this is the strongest sea-storm in the history of Arabian Sea. Cyclone Kyarr is not the direct threat to coastal areas of Pakistan. However, the storm is going to impact in the southern regions of the country.
