CTD Balochistan arrests 2 BLA terrorists from Hub Chowki

KHUZDAR: The Balochistan Counter Terror Department (CTD) is reported to have arrested two terrorists affiliated with banned outfit BLA in an intelligence based operation the other day.

MM News has learnt that on November 11, 2022. 1900 hours, the CTD got a credible information that BLA suspects namely Mangal Khan and Gulzar Ahmed, both by caste Marri, close aide of BLA commander Jaffar alias Mullah Amin and Zaheer Baloch alias Zeb, and equipped with explosives were observed near Aftab Chowk, Hub Chowki area, probably waiting for their other accomplices with the intention to carry out terrorist activities against Attock Cement Factory machinery and workers.

Acting on this lead, the CTD Team Lasbela conducted an IBO at Aftab Chowk, whereby CTD Intelligence Team officials nabbed the above mentioned terrorists on the identification of their source, and recovered arms, ammunition and explosives. 

The recoveries include: 2 KG Military Grade Explosive 1 Electric Detonator 4 Mtrs Prima Cord 1x Hand Grenade.

During preliminary interrogation the suspects revealed to have facilitated BLA  activists in Hub on the behest of Mullah Amin Mujeeb alias Akash and Zaheer alias Zeb, in terms of logistics, arms and ammunition, besides their own terrorist activities against Attock Cement Factory assets and manpower. 

MM News has further learnt that FIR is being registered at Police Station CTD Khuzdar. An investigation has been launched to arrest remaining members of the network, and more raids are planned for other areas of Balochistan.
