ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 6 more deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,518,083. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 30,304 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 571 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 36,885 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 571 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 1.54 percent.

Around 36,885 tests were conducted across Pakistan while the proportion of positive cases was 1.54 percent. The number of tests done so far has reached 26,785,763 while 707 patients of coronavirus are in intensive care.
In the country, 525 patients have succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,469,930. The number of active cases of coronavirus has risen to 18,049.
