ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of a video of violence against a girl and a boy by Usman Mirza and directed that his case can be made an example for other criminals.

According to the details, recently an accused named Usman Mirza along with other companions harassed a girl and a boy after the video of the incident went viral.

Police arrested the main accused Usman Mirza and other accused. The prime minister took strict notice of the incident and directed to bring all the accused to justice as soon as possible.

PM Imran Khan sought full details of the incident from IG Islamabad. On the other hand, significant progress has been made in the incident of violence against girl and boy in the federal capital.

City police managed to make the victims part of the case. The boy and girl have recorded their statements to the police. The victims agreed to be assured of full protection and legal assistance. “My friend and I were forcibly taken to a room, I was tortured and my friend was raped,” the victim said by adding that they both were threatened for months.

SSP Investigation Ata-ur-Rehman and SP Amna met the victim girl and boy and both agreed to give statements. The statements of both victims have been made part of the investigation.

Efforts are underway to arrest others involved in the case. Police in this regard said after the prime minister’s notice that further progress will be made soon in the Usman Mirza case as the accused are under investigation.
