ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has expressed satisfaction that the coronavirus situation is improving in the country.
While talking to media, Asad Umar expressed satisfaction over better compliance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), “Following the SOPs will help decline the spread of coronavirus,” he said.
Asad Umar said that the coronavirus situation is improving in the country; however, he added that if people are not careful then there will be outcomes.
The federal minister further said, “Taking effective measures to stop the spread of novel coronavirus is government’s top priority”. According to him, the federal government is making efforts to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus.
The planning minister also lauded the efforts of healthcare professionals who are on the front-line in the fight against infectious disease. He further stated that the government is constantly increasing medical capabilities to meet the challenge of coronavirus pandemic and other diseases.
