Pakistan has suspended all flight operations to and from Iran at midnight amid coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan.
The decisions came after three cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Pakistan. Two of the infected people had travel Iran, where the number of cases had grown drastically in past few days.
Pakistan had already suspended road and rail movement with Iran earlier in the week.
Joint secretary of Aviation Abdul Sattar Khokar in a statement said, “Aviation Division has decided to cease all direct operation between Pakistan and Iran with effect from midnight between 27 and 28 February 2020 until further notice.”
Meanwhile, people wishing to visit Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah cannot visit the country as the Saudi government has temporarily banned the pilgrims to enter due to coronavirus outbreak.
