WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has affected 51,810,112 people in the world and 1,279,531 deaths have occurred.
So far, more than 36,394,874 million patients of coronavirus have recovered and 14,135,707 million are undergoing treatment. The United States has the highest number of cases and deaths due to coronavirus worldwide. In the US, 245,799 deaths and more than 1559,000 cases have been reported from coronavirus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 127,615 deaths and more than 86.35 million people diagnosed with the virus.
The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 162,824 and more than 571,000 people are affected. In France, more than 1.829 million people were affected and 42,207 lost their lives. More than 1.817 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total number of deaths to 31,161.
More than 1.43 million people have been affected in Spain, while 39,756 people have died. In Argentina, more than 1.262 million people were affected and 34,183 killed.

Coronavirus cases reached 20 million worldwide in August. On 16th September, coronavirus crossed the 30 million mark. On 17th October, the number of cases exceeded 40 million.
On 7th November, the cases crossed the 50 million mark. The first 5 million cases traveled worldwide in 186 days. It took 43 days to get 10 million to 20 million cases.
