ISLAMABAD: The coronavirus has killed six more people in Pakistan, bringing the total death toll to 6,745.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 773 new cases were reported from coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the total number has reached 329,375. In Pakistan, 311,440 coronavirus patients have recovered and the number of active cases is 11,190.
The coronavirus has killed 2,336 people in Punjab and 2,599 in Sindh. The death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 1,270, in Islamabad 213, in Balochistan 149, in Gilgit-Baltistan 91, and in Azad Kashmir 87.
The number of coronavirus cases in Islamabad has reached 19,181. Around 103,082 cases have been reported in Punjab, 144,114 in Sindh, 39,119 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,839 in Balochistan, 4,191 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 3,849 in Azad Kashmir.

There are facilities for coronavirus patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for coronavirus patients in hospitals is 1,920. There are 132 testing laboratories operating in the country and trace, test, and quarantine strategies are working effectively in several cities.
