ISLAMABAD: At least 414 new cases of coronavirus cases have been reported in Pakistan while 9 more people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,285,254 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,737 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 42,381 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 22,028,156. Across the country, the virus test result was positive at 0.97% while the condition of 896 patients is critical.
In the last 24 hours, coronavirus was defeated by 118 people across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,242,354.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 443,185 people fell victim to the virus while 13,027 died. In Sindh, 475,820 cases of the virus and 7,621 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180,075 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,846 died. In Balochistan, 33,484 cases of the virus and 360 deaths due to corona were reported.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,556 people were infected with coronavirus and 742 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,412 cases were reported while 186 civilians lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,07,722 cases and 955 deaths were reported.
