Comprehensive security plan for SITE trade zone: DG Rangers

KARACHI: DG Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Major General Omer Ahmed Bokhari visited SITE Association of Industry and discussed the law & order situation with the industrialists of SITE area.
Addressing the industrialists of SITE area, DG Rangers said that he will prepare a revised & comprehensive security plan for the location. He appreciated the setting up of SITE Crime Monitoring Cell and stated that Rangers will continue for better utilization of the facilities provided in the SCMC.

 

Earlier, SITE Acting President Muhammad Saleem Nagaria welcomed the Chief Guest and thanked him for sparing valuable time to visit the
Association for discussing issues related to law & order. He also requested DG Rangers to uplift the infrastructure of SITE area, particularly roads which are in pathetic condition.
Chairman of Law & Order Committee Mr.Abdul Hadi briefed the DG Rangers on the working of SITE Self Security System and highlighted coordination problems related to security. 
Patron of SITE Association Mr.Zubair Motiwala said that law & order in SITE area has improved and there is a need to maintain it. He highlighted the role of SITE area in Karachi as well as in the national economy and said that Karachi should be given importance in the country’s resource allocation.

Patron-in-Chief SITE Association Mr.Siraj Kassam Teli also spoke on the occasion. He thanked the Chief Guest for visiting SITE Association and said that most of the street crimes occur due to poor conditions of roads which is now a security issue.  He requested the DG Rangers to plead this matter with government high ups. Siraj Teli praised the role of Rangers in bringing back peace in Karachi and assured DG Rangers of every cooperation on behalf of industrialists of SITE area.
