WASHINGTON: US diplomat Alice Wells has announced of providing Pakistan one million dollars under the USAID programme for preventing the coronavirus.
The announcement was made by the US diplomat on twitter where she expressed that the United States and Pakistan both have been longstanding partners in tackling global health challenges.

In another tweet, she wrote that the US-Pakistan government partnership was helping fight the COVID-19.

The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan have climbed to 456 as more cases have been reported across the country on Friday.
Three patients have died due to novel coronavirus in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa – one in Mardan and another from Peshawar and one from Karachi.
