CM Sindh reviews progress over ongoing projects

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has chaired a meeting to review the progress of the on-going projects at Chief Minister House.
The projects include Green Line Bus Rapid Transit System, and Orange Line and Red Line.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister Sindh was briefed and informed that for the bus depot in Surjani Town area, the land has been given. He also approved Rs. 962 million for the Numaish Chowrangi underpass.
During the meeting, Shah also said that half of the problem of Karachi citizens would be solved through road construction and transportation.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah instructed the Minister of Transport during the meeting that the Orange Line should be constructed and started within the next 3 to 4 months. To this, the authorities informed the chief minister that the fund was released to the sub-committee and funds would be released soon, while the trend of the red line would continue till February.

Minister for Transport Awais Shah, Municipal Minister Nasir Shah, Advisor Murtaza Wahab, Acting Chief Secretary Mohammad Wasim and Principal Secretary Sajid Jamal Abdo attended the meeting.
In addition, Secretary Municipality Roshan Sheikh, Secretary Law Sharq Hussain, Secretary Transport Abbas Detoh, MDPPP unit Khalid Sheikh and other officers were also present during the meeting.
