Love Island USA viewers may be doing a double take when Zach Georgiou walks into the villa. The 26-year-old content creator is the younger brother of former Love Island star Charlie Georgiou, and the resemblance between the two is hard to miss.
Fans familiar with Charlie’s time in the spotlight will likely recognize the family connection straight away.
Unlike many newcomers, Zach Georgiou already knows a thing or two about the reality TV world. When Charlie appeared on Love Island, Zach was the one helping run his social media accounts from the outside, giving him a front-row seat to the experience. That clearly wasn’t enough to put him off, as he’s now stepping into the villa himself in the hope of finding a connection.
Originally from England, Zach divides his time between Birmingham and Adelaide, Australia. Away from reality television, he works as a digital creator and regularly shares content focused on travel, fitness and day-to-day life.
Some viewers may also recognize him from the 2016 film Boys in the Trees, where he appeared as an “older skater.”
Fitness plays a major role in Zach’s life as he has spoken openly about wanting to become the healthiest version of himself.
He’s also worked with haircare brand Feel Wavy, embracing the curly hair that has become part of his signature look.
Despite his confident appearance, Zach describes himself as an introvert and a self-confessed nerd who has a love for superheroes and comic books and says he’s the type of person who becomes emotionally invested in films, admitting that he tears up during most movies. He’s also a devoted cat owner.
When it comes to dating, Zach appears to wear his heart on his sleeve. He has revealed that he doesn’t believe in wasting time and isn’t afraid to express his feelings early if he believes there’s a genuine connection.
Now, with Love Island USA set to introduce him to a much bigger audience, Zach has the chance to step out from his brother’s shadow and see whether his own search for love ends more successfully than Charlie Georgiou’s did.
