The preparations for holding the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan are underway in full swing. PCB is renovating the stadiums ahead of the mega event, whose development work is almost completed.
The Mini World Cup will kick off on February 19 with an inaugural match between the defending champions and the host, Pakistan against New Zealand in Karachi.
Pakistan will be hosting the first mega event after 1996 World Cup.
UAE, meanwhile, was confirmed as the neutral venue with Dubai hosting all the India matches.

ICC announces umpires for Champions Trophy
The International Cricket Council has confirmed the match officials for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 February to 9 March.
A team of 12 umpires will take charge of the proceedings in the 8-team tournament to be played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi in Pakistan and Dubai in the UAE.
Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffaney, Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, Rodney Tucker, Alex Wharf, Joel Wilson.
