Pakistan cricket team head coach Aaqib Javed has said that Faheem Ashraf has been given a chance as an all-rounder in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Talking to the media, the head coach and former fast bowler said that Pakistan should score more than three hundred runs in home conditions, cricket has become faster due to T20 cricket, every team easily makes three hundred plus runs.
He said that the tri-nation series is an opportunity to gear up for the Champions Trophy, Pakistan’s adventure in the Champions Trophy will also start with the match against the Kiwis.
Talking about the selection of Faheem Ashraf, he said that Faheem Ashraf has been given a chance as an all-rounder, if needed, Faheem Ashraf will also be given a chance in bowling.
Aaqib Javed said that the national team has been formed as the best combination, so that fast bowlers and spin all-rounders are available if needed.
