CDA gears to vacate 450 kanals in Park Enclave housing society

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has completed arrangements the vacate an area measuring 450 kanals located in Park Enclave housing society from encroachments.
According to details, CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed held a high-level meeting during which the Enforcement Department was issued clear directives to vacate the properties which have been encroached by the land mafia.
Sources informed that land grabbers in connivance with several CDA officers have illegally occupied two large plots of land within the Park Enclave housing society. Islamabad authorities are now gearing up to vacate two plots of lands measuring 450 kanals from the land grabbers.
The sources informed that there are no problems in the housing society and construction is underway. During the high-level meeting, CDA chairman directed to resume development works. It was decided to call a session of the Development Works Committee (DWC) within ten days to oversee the completion of ongoing works.
CDA chairman directed the completion of the mosque’s construction at the housing society within the stipulated time. The grand mosque is being built with support from the government of Morocco and will be one of the largest in the federal capital.
The meeting decided that the tenders for development projects in Sector I-12 and adjoining areas will be issued within three weeks, while the projects in Sector I-15 will resume next month.
