Women’s rights activists express anger to honour Ali Zafar

KARACHI: Superstar Ali Zafar has donated a total of Rs 2 million to support daily wagers affected due to lockdown aimed coronavirus.
The actor posted a video on a social media website and wrote: “We have started the distribution of “Ration” from Lahore and delivered to 50 families so far. I have personally donated Rs. 2 million to help the daily wagers in the coming days.”
Zafar further wrote: “(I am sharing this figure as some ask about personal contribution). I urge everyone to click on the link in my bio for details to donate. Let’s all come together to fight this pandemic and ensure that nobody is hungry during this difficult time. Join the movement.”
“In these testing times, it is most important that we use all our resources to help those who have none. Nobody should go hungry in the lockdown. Help us feed them. Join the movement. Donate generously.”
