Pakistanis have relied on humor as their main coping technique their entire lives. KopyKats and ActiveMedia proudly present Malika-E-Tabassum, an exclusive one-man comedy act, in these challenging times where humor is desperately needed.
The comedy extravaganzas directed by Dawar Mehmood, the brains behind KopyKats Productions, and is produced by Saad Khan, the CEO of Active Media. Bushra Ansari’s part of the stand-up comedy lasts around an hour, and promises an unforgettable night of unbridled joy and pure brilliance.
Active Media and Kopy Kats organised the show that will continue till July 15.
It is worth mentioning that Ms Ansari has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry thanks to her exceptional talent, razor-sharp humor, and amazing adaptability. The Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat star promises a roller-coaster of amusement in this much anticipated solo performance, with a satirical commentary on life’s oddities, making fun of society norms, and leaving you gasping for air with laughter.
Malika-E-Tabassum transcends the limitations of a standard stand-up comedy performance. The exceptional comedy event aims to use this platform to introduce and promote talented artists.
Bushra Ansari made a stunning entrance as the event finally got underway, her chair suspended in midair by a rope as she mocked one of Pakistan’s most influential institutions and declared that she would hold a press conference.
I had assumed that Bushra Ansari’s role in Malika E Tabassum, a theater drama, would be played by many characters, but that wasn’t the case. It was purely stand-up comedy based on Bushra Ansari’s life; she revealed her humorous adult and post-marriage experiences while also making an effort to gently impart lessons to the audience.
She stated, for instance, “I support the Aurat March, but if this Aurat March would continue until October because one day couldn’t solve women’s problems and women should ask for their rights in a polite way.”

Actress Bushra Ansari performed in Malika E Tabassum, an adult stand-up comedy in Pakistan, where she used a caustic and observational manner to frequently address social, political, and cultural concerns in a lighthearted way.
Earlier at an introductory press conference, Bushra Ansari promised to make the crowd laugh. It’s a one-man performance of stand-up comedy, as the name suggests. “I watch stand-up comedy. The genre is well-known abroad. Some young individuals in our country also engage in it. Dawar was requested not to use the term “stand-up” because the humor performed there (in the West) is unrestrained. I sometimes think that western audiences are extremely naïve because they frequently laugh at the silliest of jokes. We shouldn’t judge ourselves against them, in my opinion. They have a lot of options.”
She said that the director had been pursuing her for the past five years and that it is due to him that she is performing in the play. “All by me up there on stage,” she continued. For me, it will be a new endeavor. You’ll perceive me as you have in the past.”
