LOS ANGELES: The Grammy Award-winning singer Billie Eilish has shedded light over her struggles with body image and body-shaming she had been facing long before her career began.
The 19-year-old sensation in an interview revealed her body image struggles started long before she was in the showbiz’s spotlight. “I think that the people around me were more worried about it than I was because the reason I used to cut myself was because of my body,” she was quoted saying. “To be quite honest with you, I only started wearing baggy clothes because of my body.”

The singer also revealed that she started taking ‘weight loss’ pills when she was just 12 years-old and her lifestyle and relationship with her body was unhealthy. The 19-year-old continued, ‘I remember taking a pill that told me that it would make me lose weight and it only made me pee the bed – when I was 12. It’s just crazy. I can’t even believe, like I – wow. ‘
