ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded to withdraw the decision of suspending weekly report on inflation.
Bilawal in his statement opposed the decision of hiding the inflation figures from the people and added that it would not reduce the inflation in the country.
Instead of hiding the figures, the government should have taken action against the mafia and stopped corruption.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that even in the dictatorial period no attempt was made to hide the inflation figures from the people. According to sources, the Cabinet has directed the Statistics Department to issue a monthly report after which the Statistics Division will not issue a weekly report on inflation from this week.
