Balochistan extends coronavirus lockdown till April 21

BALOCHISTAN: The Balochistan government has extended the COVID-19 lockdown till April 21 to curb the spread of the epidemic.
According to a notification, all shopping malls, public transport, bazaars, markets, parks, restaurants and tourist-spots will remain closed till April 21 across the province to ensure safety of public from the coronavirus outbreak.
The notification further said the decision to extend lockdown has been taken keeping in view the sharply raising the number of COVID-19 cases in the province.
All steps being taken to control the coronavirus will be implemented immediately, the notification read.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan rose to 3,658 on Monday after new cases were reported in the country. 
According to government data, 1,816 cases were registered in Punjab, 932 in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 405, Balochistan 198, Gilgit-Baltistan 210, Islamabad 82 and Azad Kashmir 15.
As many as 52 people have died of COVID-19 since its outbreak in the country, which includes 17 in Sindh, 15 in Punjab, KP 16, Balochistan 01, and 03 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, 257 people have recovered, while 1285 coronavirus patients were hospitalized and 17 of them are in serious condition.
