Bagallery, in association with L’Oreal Pakistan, have launched a ‘Virtual Try on for Makeup’ allowing customers to try beauty products online.

This partnership powered by Modiface is the first venture of its kind in Pakistan, which enhances consumer shopping experience from the comfort of their handheld devices.

Modiface’s virtual try-on service enables consumers to experience L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York and NYX Professional makeup products through live video or photo-sharing directly on the web.

This is their most universal augmented reality offering that can be deployed easily and quickly across both, web and app platforms. This technology enables personalized product previews which result in increased time-spent, user engagement, and conversions for brands and E-Tailers.

Bagallery’s customers now do not need to visit stores to know how the product will look on them, as this experience makes it convenient for users to shop make up products using the Virtual Try-On technology.

Through facial recognition and augmented reality technology, a L’Oréal Paris color riche – Erotique lipstick will appear precisely on your lips. With a single tap, you can either add your favorite product to the cart or keep exploring the wide range of shades. In a nutshell, Bagallery with Modiface’s Virtual try On Service is a one-stop shop for all your makeup looks.

The partnership focuses on different features and areas which will be implemented in stages and will be extended to all other categories, including hair coloration, skincare/diagnostics over time. With Modiface augmented reality solutions, Bagallery aims to accelerate social commerce and live shopping in Pakistan.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with L’Oréal to the next level with the launch of this virtual try on service. This augmented reality tech powered by Modiface will enable an enhanced user experience with 100% accurate color reproduction. We have also ensured that no user data is being stored anywhere with customer data security being utmost priority. The virtual try on service caters to all skin types, colors, and tones for our push towards tech enabling diversity.” said Salman Sattar, CEO & Co-Founder, Bagallery

“We are excited to continue our journey of innovation and putting consumers first, bringing L’Oreal’s global beauty tech solution for Augmented reality – ModiFace Virtual Try on. Being a pioneer in innovation and digital beauty trends, L’Oreal Pakistan is now offering it to Bagallery shoppers, making cosmetics shopping online easier, intuitive, and realistic, especially in a post-pandemic world.”
