ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the assemblies will be dissolved on August 13 upon completion of the term. General elections will be held in October or November, which is the task of the caretaker government.
According to details, during a conversation with private TV, the interior minister said that what happened in the country on May 9, Imran Khan was the mastermind, while former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was involved in the planning of the attacks.
During the conversation, Rana Sanaullah said that PTI had rebelled against the state which had no scope. “Yasmin Rashid took people to Jinnah House. Hamad Azhar’s character is a criminal. PTI can be divided into 2 or 3 pieces< he maintained.
The interior minister said that one part of PTI will remain in PPP, the other in the Jahangir Tarin group, and the third in Tehreek-e-Insaf. “No decision was taken to advance the election in the PML-N. Nawaz Sharif will lead us in the election,” he said.
The interior minister said that the situation changed after May 9, earlier there was competition between Tehreek-e-Insaf and PML-N in Punjab. Nawaz Sharif should get a security guarantee.
