Apple has fired its employee for leading #AppleToo movement, an employee action against the harassment faced at the workplace.
The giant American tech company, Apple fired its program manager Janneke Parrish at the allegations of non-compliance, but Janneke refuses to the charges placed at her by the company saying that, she believed she was fired for speaking out publicly about issues within the company as a leader of the #AppleToo movement.
There are consequences for speaking out. There are consequences for doing the right thing.
But we do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. #AppleToo is about asking Apple to do better, to end systemic discrimination, abuse, and pay inequity.
Do the right thing. https://t.co/nhxFlflSvR
