One person has been killed and several others injured in an attack by Hindu extremists on Muslims in four Indian states.
According to Indian media, Hindu extremists attacked Muslim homes and shops during religious rallies in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, then looted and set them on fire.
It is believed that Hindu extremists, along with police personnel, broke into Muslim homes, insulted women, and tortured men, killing one Muslim and injuring dozens.
In addition, a curfew has been imposed in various cities of Madhya Pradesh. It should be noted that the pro-Hindu police instead of stopping the Hindu attacks further supported them and arrested several Muslims.
On the other hand, Muslim students at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University were banned from eating meat dishes. Muslim students who protested against the ban were injured by 16 students from the violence of Papolis. Several Muslim students were also arrested.
