ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotics Force today recovered over 28 kg drugs and arrested two accused.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman, ANF Rawalpindi and ANF Intelligence intercepted a van near Islamabad Motorway Interchange and recovered over 24 kg hashish, 1.2 kg opium, one kg Ice and 1.9 kg heroin besides arresting two accused namely Nadeem resident of Charsadda and Sher Rehman.
A case has been registered against the accused, while further investigation is in progress.

Separately, Pakistan Navy and Anti-Narcotics Force seized approximately 1,000 kilograms of drugs at the North Arabian Sea.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, the drugs valued at approximately Rs247 million and were seized after an intelligence-based joint sea operation The seized drugs were subsequently handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force for further legal proceedings.
The spokesperson said the successful execution of Anti-Narcotics joint Operation is a strong demonstration of Pakistan Navy’s resolve to deter and disrupt illegal activities in maritime zones of Pakistan.
