Andrassy is a sweet confectionary that is made with rice flour traditionally sweetened with gur (jaggery) but now increasingly with sugar.
A slight amount of milk along with semolina and cardamom powder is also used. The mixture is then refrigerated for several hours. Eventually, small rounded skillets are formed and fired in cooking oil.
It is then sprinkled with sesame seeds after being fired in cooking oil. They can be in many different shapes but round ones (Andrassy ki goli) is the most famous.
