Singer Ali Zafar has revealed the title of the Pakistan Super League 2024 season 9: Khul Ke Khel.
“So this time it’s about playing and living fearlessly and so I wrote…,” he said in a post on X, formerly called Twitter, on Sunday. “Get your dancing shoes ready !”
The PSL announced last week that Zafar would be performing the league’s anthem.
For one of the best cricket leagues in the world, this would be Rockstar Crooner’s fourth song. For the tournament’s first three iterations, Zafar performed songs.
However, that changed in 2018 when Meesha Shafi, another Pakistani singer, accused him of harassment.

Zafar is likely to work with Aima Baig, who contributed to the songs for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
The opening match of the T20 league will see Islamabad United take on the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars on February 17 in Lahore.
The 34-match T20I tournament might include up to six teams. The Qalandars captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, will be hoping to create history by taking home the trophy a record-tying third time.
