ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has summoned former prime minister Imran Khan tomorrow on corruption charges.
According to the details, NAB Rawalpindi summoned Imran Khan in a personal capacity on May 18. The Al Qadir Trust case against Imran Khan has been renamed to the National Crime Agency’s £190 million scam.
Earlier, the Rangers arrested Imran Khan in the Al Qadir Trust case on May 9 from the Islamabad High Court premises on the instructions of the NAB, however, the Supreme Court remarked that the bureau has insulted the court.

A questionnaire was also sent to Chairman PTI Imran Khan. The Election Commission of Pakistan has also summoned Imran Khan in a personal capacity on May 23 in case of humiliating the Election Commission.
Meanwhile, NAB Rawalpindi has directed Shahzad Akbar, the former advisor to prime minister on Accountability and Interior during the Imran Khan era, to appear on May 22 and record his answer in the inquiry.
NAB officials said that legal action will be taken if Shahzad Akbar does not appear. Akbar is also wanted by the National Crime Agency in the £190 million scam case, the officials added.
