RAWALPINDI: At least eleven people including six soldiers of Pakistan Army and five civilians got injuries when Afghan security forces opened fire at Pak-Afghan border on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Afghan forces targeted civilians and Pakistani soldiers in Arundu village in Chitral from the Nari district, situated in the Kunar province.
The forces at Pakistan’s side responded befittingly and targeted the Afghan border posts as well, added sources.
The military’s media wing said that, “There are reports of substantial damage to Afghan Border Posts, while fire stopped after an engagement at a military level.”
Earlier, two servicemen of Pakistan along with a major and a Sepoy had embraced the martyrdom in a result of IED blast on Pak-Afghan border.
