ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has been asked by the Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger to join the Austria World Summit.
As per details, the Hollywood actor had written a letter to the prime minister in which he had requested him to join the summit due to his environmental efforts to protect the climate.
In his letter, Arnold Schwarzenegger had also called the prime minister a “Climate Action Hero”. The invitation has been sent to those leaders who have been involved in promoting the message of environmental protection.
The meetings of the Austria World Summit will be held in Austria and headed by its president. The Summit this year is being managed by ‘The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative’, for addressing climate change and sharing solutions. He has been part of several campaigns for environmental protection.
Recently Imran Khan’s cover was published in one of the US top magazines due to his efforts for improving the environment.
Since he had come into power, he has been involved in promoting the awareness of eradicating pollution. His government in this regard had decided that till the end of the year 2020, Euro 5 fuel would be imported, while the recent fuel would be converted into Euro4.
