ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has extended the hearing of suspension of the appointment case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abrar-ul-Haq as Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) till 5th December.
Abrar ul Haq today appeared in the court hearing along with his lawyer.
The hearing was led by IHC’s judge Athar Minallah suspended the appointment orders of Abrar Ul Haq in the previous hearing of the case.

Haq’s counsel said in the court that the Red Crescent was a welfare body and the petition against the appointment of its chairman is non-maintainable.
The federal government sought time for submission of its reply in the court over the matter.
The bench granted the government to submit its reply in the case by the 5th December.
The case against Haq was a filed petition submitted by former chairman of PRCS Saeed Elahi whose lawyer told the court that his client’s term as chairman would end in March 2020.
