Bilal Abbas Khan, who earlier this year found a place in the reputable ‘30 under 30 Global Asian Stars’ list of Britain’s weekly magazine Eastern Eye, has recently slammed media to become more responsible for whom the platform writes.
In a tweet, the ‘Ek Jhooti Love Story’ actor while highlighting that he has generally ignored the media wrote that it is high time that few platforms that call themselves ‘media’ need to understand that they have a certain responsibility of being credible towards the people they are writing.

I have generally ignored the media, but I think it’s high time that few platforms that call themselves ‘media’ need to understand that they have a certain responsibility of being credible towards the people they are writing about & the ‘news’ they publish for likes and traffic.

According to Khan, he has never wanted any masala (gossip) news for himself. The actor shared the screenshot of his story on his Instagram account as well.
Moreover, more of his supporters came forward and agreed with what the actor stated in his tweet. One of them wrote that It’s high time this shut-up call was needed. Another one commented, “Social media is a powerful tool. But they need tp remember, with great power comes greater responsibility! Spreading negativity/ rumours =NO Sharing information. Gaining knowledge, spreading peace and love = Yes”
This is the bitter reality of Media that it’s become a source to spread false or inappropriate news about people without any proper evidence and started making statements every person if it is celebrity or not have proper right to defense him/her
