LOS ANGELES: Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has filed papers as evidence in the court in support of domestic abuse allegations against her former husband and actor Brad Pitt.
The 45-year-old actress has filed documents in the court that indicate she and her children are willing to offer proof and authority in support of their claims against Pitt.
According to a US Weekly publication, Jolie has agreed to provide testimony, along with the testimony of minor children. “If Angelina has more documentation to prove domestic violence towards her or the children, she can submit it as a supplemental offer to prove in the trial,” a report added.
The report further stated that all six of the former couple’s kids — Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, and Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12– could freely speak in court in their divorce hearings. Meanwhile, a source close to Pitt told US Weekly that the filing is nothing but an attempt to merely “hurt” the 57-year-old actor.

Moreover, a painting by former British prime minister Sir Winston Churchill, which was owned by Angelina Jolie, had sold for £7m at auction in London.
The sale price was almost four times the top pre-sale estimate and beat the previous record for a Churchill painting, which was just under £1.8m. The Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque, painted in Marrakesh during World War Two, was sold to an anonymous buyer.
A Christie’s spokesperson called it “Churchill’s most important work”. The spokesperson added, “Aside from its distinguished provenance, it is the only landscape he made during the war.”
Churchill, a keen artist, took inspiration from the Moroccan city and painted The Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque oil work following the Casablanca Conference in 1943. The work eventually found its way into the hands of actress Angelina Jolie when it went on sale in New Orleans in 2011.
