Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has mocked Indian cricket fans after England crushed India by 227 runs in the opening Test in Chennai.
The former England captain teased Indian fans, reminding them ‘of his warning tweet’ after England bowled India out for 192 on Day 5 to become the first team to beat the hosts at the MA Chidambaram stadium since 1999.
However, on Tuesday, England beat India by 227 runs in the opening Test to go 1-0 up in the four-match series. Kevin Pietersen trolled India’s 227-run defeat to England in the Chennai Test, referring to the past in such an interesting way that the Indians caught fire.

It may be recalled that India had recently won the fourth Test match against Australia by chasing 328 runs. The Indian team became the first team since the West Indies to beat the Australian team in 1988 and won the four-match series 1-2.

In the Chennai Test yesterday, England had given India a difficult target of 420 runs to win, but the hosts were bowled out for 192 in the second session of the last day. This is England’s sixth consecutive victory in its own country.
