LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA in Punjab Assembly Rais Nabeel Ahmed called on Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and expressed complete confidence in his leadership.
Rais Nabeel Ahmed is PPP MPA from PP-265 Rahim Yar Khan. He met the chief minister and apprised him about the problems of his constituency and issues being faced by the public. Buzdar expressed resolve to solve issues of every constituency of the province and said that development is the right of every city and town.
He further said that past governments neglected underdeveloped areas. He criticised opposition parties and said that the public cannot be deceived by mere slogans and those opposing development will fail.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Rais Nabeel Ahmed said the meeting was fruitful and it was held in a conducive environment.
Earlier on Wednesday, PML-N MPA Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad had also expressed confidence in Chief Minister of Usman Buzdar.
