Pakistan has witnessed a gradual increase in rape cases over the past few months, and on the hand, the law enforcement agencies have so far failed to take it very seriously, due to which the activities of habitual criminals and their supporters are not decreasing.
Earlier, Dr. Shahid Masood provided information to the bottom of this brutal business and as a result, he was handcuffed and presented in the courts and was convicted saying that he wasted the court’s time.
Soon, a group of dark web involved in child pornography was arrested in Pakistan; can those, who turned a blind eye towards the reality of the Dark Web, issue a public apology to Dr. Shahid Masood? Of course, this can never happen because we prefer to commit suicide rather than admit our mistake in the system or ideology we are living under.
The majority of the nation, including the Prime Minister himself, agrees that the culprit should be hanged in public and set a precedent. But the delicacy of the situation is once again standing like a plywood wall, covered with a veil of expediency. We believe that on the day when a sexual predator would be caught by the people, they will put all their fears aside and hang them.
When it comes to national integrity, the Pakistani nation goes into such a frenzy that it can collide with the strongest mountain and break it into pieces. Unfortunately, Pakistan has not found a politician who is capable of taking this enthusiasm in the right direction.
To this day, the nation is being used to achieve its personal and even ego-satisfying goals. Nature always supports the brave even if he is standing on the cricket field or a battlefield. History bears witness to this, the present is adorned with it and will continue to be so in the future, because nature was, is, and will support the brave.
Sacrifices have become a national duty of the Pakistani people. Stories of sacrifices are being told, but the glorious era that should have come as a result of these sacrifices is not yet visible. Although the police force doesn’t have such a good reputation, the faith and sense of duty of a single officer are enough to make the agency proud.
Such a feat has been given by Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Bakhsh of Sindh Police. Muhammad Bakhsh used his own daughter as a ploy to save someone’s abducted daughter or sister and endangered his daughter’s honor and life. As we know, nature supports the brave. Nature not only supported Muhammad Bakhsh and for this initiative he was rewarded at the official level.
Now the question is whether Muhammad Bakhsh’s bravery instilled other officials that to live like a lion for a day is far better than to live for a hundred years like a jackal. In our society, there is sincerity and good intentions but unfortunately, our system makes such people like us and murders our conscience. History always remembers the heroes, otherwise countless came and went. It is also clear that bravery is not the legacy of one’s tribe or region.
