KARACHI: Renowned activist Marvi Sirmed has once again stirred a storm on social media with a tweet directed at Prime Minister Imran Khan and the First Lady.
Marvi posted a picture of a meeting of Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa with Prime Minister Imran Khan and wrote, “One of those moments where PM wasn’t at top, and First Lady wasn’t in the room”

Sirmed’s tweet, which is being considered derogatory in nature towards PM, has given the netizens a reason to abuse her. Just after her tweet, a Hashtag ‘Tujpe_thokta_Kaun_Hai’ (who would even spit on you) took a place in the highest running trends.
Federal Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari said, “Marvi Sirmed, your filthy tweet against PM and his spouse really shows your shameless hypocrisy.” In reply to Mazari’s reaction, Sirmed said, “I really don’t think you’re that dumb. Clearly, the joke is not on the first Lady.”
