3 killed in road accidents, youth struck by train

KARACHI: Three people died in two different road accidents while one youth was killed after been struck by a train.

According to rescue officials, the incident occurred in Block D of North Nazimabad. One person was killed while five others were injured. The deceased and the injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The injured were identified as Mir Saeed, aged 50, Murtaza s/o Mukhtar, 30, Hikmat s/o Umar, 35, Umar s/o Gulzar, 45, Ibrahim s/o Rajib, 40. The deceased has not yet been identified.

In another incident, one person was killed in another accident near Karsaz. Rescue officials said he was identified as Muhammad Shahnawaz s/o Muhammad Haroon Essani.

One person was killed when he was struck by a train at Drigh Road. He was identified as Gul Mir Bahar s/o Loong Mir. His body has been shifted to a local hospital.
