ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the reasons given by Qadir Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri for leaving the party have nothing to do with reality.
The former Prime Minister Abbasi said that the statement by Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch is unfortunate and such remarks were not expected from him.
Whole Pakistan agrees with the narrative of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and if Abdul Qadir Baloch had any reservations, he should have talked within the party, he added.
While lashing out at the PTI government, he said, “Entire nation is facing problems due to rising inflation in the country as sugar price has reached 110 rupees per kg while roti is being sold for Rs30. Unfortunately, the prime minister is trying to spread chaos in the country”, he alleged.
The PML-N leader said that participants of PM’s rally in Hafizabad were paid and Rawalpindi public meeting by PML-N drew a bigger crowd.
Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri and disgruntled leader Abdul Qadir Baloch have resigned from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) accusing Nawaz Sharif of “betraying all those who stood by him in testing times”.
Nawab Zehri while announcing his resignation from the PML-N’s Central Executive Committee said, “From today, Nawaz Sharif is our political opponent.
During the event, he flanked by another former PML-N stalwart Abdul Qadir Baloch, who left the party recently said, “I will chalk out the future course of action after consulting my friends and aides.”
Former CM recalled that he and Qadir Baloch were awarded PML-N tickets from Balochistan when nobody was ready to contest elections on their party symbol in 2018.
On this occasion, disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Lt-Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has formally announced stepping down from the party post, citing the anti-military narrative of party supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam.
Baloch, who was president of PML-N’s Balochistan chapter, said he had earned all the respect and honor while serving in the armed forces of the country.
