ASI commits suicide after accidental drowning of his family

CHARSADDA: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) reportedly committed suicide after the accidental drowning of his family members.

According to Police, ASI Intezar Ali was depressed since the death of his family members. He had lost his wife and three children in a drowning incident in a canal two months ago.

Last month, another ASI had shot himself and committed suicide at Lahore’s Garden Town police station. The police named Majeed was associated with the Garden Town investigation department.

According to the team of forensic experts, the officer was under mental stress after the demise of his son in a traffic accident.
