Three civilians injured in unprovoked Indian firing across LoC

RAWALPINDI: The Indian Army has once again violated the Line of Control by firing and targeting the civilian population.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), three civilians Pakistani nationals have been injured in unprovoked firing by the Indian Army and have been shifted to a hospital for first aid. The Indian Army targeted the civilian population in the Bedori sector and the Pakistan Army has also responded to the enemy’s provocations.

It may be recalled that the Indian Army had opened unprovoked firing in the Bedori sector the previous day as a result of which Liaqat, a Havaldar of Pak Army, was martyred. Havaldar Liaqat, a resident of Chakwal, was 39 years old.

According to ISPR, India has targeted Pakistan Army outposts and civilian population, to which an effective response has been given. There are reports of heavy casualties and financial losses to the Indian Army in the retaliatory action of the Pakistan Army.

Yesterday, the Pakistan Army shot down another spy drone of the Indian Army in the Chakoti sector of LoC. According to the ISPR, the Indian drone had entered Pakistan’s territory up to 500 meters.

ISPR said that this is the 11th Indian drone shot down by the Pakistan Army this year. The Pakistani military had also shot down an Indian spy drone in the Chakri sector on 27th May.
