Police arrest three gang members involved in various crimes

KARACHI: The district police have arrested three members of a gang, along with the leader in Karachi. The arrested suspects are allegedly involved in more than 30 cases, including attacks on police.

According to details, the police have arrested the culprits in Ibrahim Hyderi district of Karachi. The police have seized heavy weapons including grenades from the suspects’ possession.

In this regard, SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur said that the police took targeted action on a tip-off. SSP Malir further said that the arrested accused was involved in dozens of robberies, including attacks on police.

He also said that cases have been registered against the arrested accused. “Arrest of other operatives of this group is also expected soon,” the SSP added.

It is worth mentioning here that the main accused Nazakat alias TT was declared a fugitive by the court. More than 30 serious cases were registered against the main accused in various police stations.
