RIYADH: The sanitizers are reportedly being distributed free of cost among the people in Saudi Arabia to prevent the coronavirus.
As per the source, sanitization products were being distributed at a traffic signal of Riyadh as part of ongoing efforts to prevent the coronavirus outbreak.
Apart from the traffic signals, the distribution was being administered in several mosques around Riyadh. Moreover, The production of sanitizers and disinfectants have been also increased in the country.
Since Saudi Arabia has confirmed its first coronavirus case, the country has been taking several precautionary measures to prevent the virus from spreading as it has recently confirmed 133 cases of the disease.
In this regard, Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended government work and ordered public sector workers to stay home for 16 days.
The new measures taken by Saudi Arabia are among some of the most comprehensive among the Gulf states. They include halting international passenger flights and canceling Umrah pilgrimages.
