CM Punjab visits PSCA to evaluate Ashura security arrangements

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) to review and evaluate the arrangements regarding the monitoring of mourning processions on Muharram 10, on Tuesday, reported by APP.

The chief minister of Punjab was accompanied by the Law Minister of Punjab, Raja Basharat and Punjab’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Arif Nawaz. It was During his visit, Usman Buzdar monitored the route of the main procession of Muharram 10. He also reviewed and evaluated the law and order situation in the provincial capital.

Earlier, Chief Minister Buzdar performed 976th annual ghusal of the shrine of Al-Shaikh Al-Syed Ali Bin Usman Al-Hajveri known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA). The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran while renowned Naat Khawan, Marghoob Hamdani and others presented the Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (SAWW).
