KARACHI: The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations on Sunday morning re-opened across Sindh province for 24 hours.
According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the CNG stations would remain open for 24 hours from 8:00 am on Sunday to 8:00 am on Monday.
It further stated the decision to re-open CNG stations was announced after enhancement in the gas pressure. The gas supply at the stations has suffered during the due to excessive use in domestic and commercial levels.
It is worth to mention here that earlier the Sui Southern Gas Company issued as notification stated the filling stations would not continue services from Saturday 8:00 am to Sunday morning at 8:00 am.
Furthermore, the Sui Southern Gas Company had also issued a new schedule of CNG supplies from the next week as the closure would be made from 9 March, Monday 8:00 am to 10 March, Tuesday 8:00 am.
The provisions were closed on 11 March, Wednesday 8:00 am to 12 March, Thursday 8:00 am and 13 March, Friday 8:00 am to 14 March, Saturday 8:00 am.
