MULTAN: Health department authorities in Multan called a meeting here Friday to probe into killing of a six-year-old child who died of a mad dog biting at Sher Shah town Multan.
According to details, three members committee including District Health Officer, Deputy Health Officer, and Sanitary Inspector deposited the report to CEO Health after completing inquiry and cleared the death itself from being responsible for the incident.
The investigative committee declared the late Sajawal was brought to Rural Health Center until he succumbed to injuries.
It said that the anti-rabies vaccine was present at Rural Health Center in large quantities. However, it stated the cause of the child’s death was due to the biting of the pet dog of the neighbor named Muhammad Rafique.
Later, the committee paid a visit to the said UC and ordered a sanitary inspector to re-launch operation against stray dogs.
