RIYADH: Saudi airline Riyadh Air has announced the suspension of all flights from the capital, Riyadh, until November 7, with its flight operations set to shift to Qassim Airport from Sunday, October 25.
According to reports in foreign media, Riyadh Air has stated that flights will operate from Qassim Airport instead of Riyadh starting October 25. Passengers have been advised to take the airport change into account when making their travel arrangements.
The airline has specifically urged Umrah pilgrims to check the latest status of their flights and confirm their departure airport before travelling to avoid any inconvenience.
Reports of the suspension of flight operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh emerged following attacks by Yemen’s Houthi movement. Against this backdrop, Riyadh Air’s flights are reportedly being shifted to Qassim Airport.
Passengers are advised to verify all flight details directly with the airline before departure, particularly the designated airport and the latest flight schedule.
